What is a tree data hierarchy?

The tree data hierarchy is used in Infanywhere. It is designed to group your records according some properties (e.g. type of documents or date). Every record must be in a node. Tree structure is located in the upper-left corner of page.

Selected any node, you can see it’s information in corresponding widgets. Thus, only records from this node would be shown.

Nodes, with subnodes inside, has a sign in the left part. To see the subnodes you need to click on this sign by RMB. Meanwhile, the sign would be changed on . To hide subnodes, you need to click on this sign again.

You can also use keyboard to navigate in the tree.

Tree navigate elements

The following navigate elements are above the tree:

  1. Records display mode switcher. If this switcher is on, all the records inside the node and all its subnodes would be shown.
  2. Search button.Click on it to open field to search node.
  3. Bin button.
  4. Refresh button.

Bin button would be available only after removing at least one record or node.

  1. Recent records
  2. Filters

Use them to see the recently seen records and saved search filters

At the bottom of tree field, you can click on edit button to open fields with the setting elements. Every element has a pop-up tip.
